How do I apply to a job posting?

Please use our online application form. This way, we will receive the most important information and documents from you in order to assign your application and be able to contact you.

 

Do you accept applications via post or email?

In general, we would like to ask you to apply by using our online application form. This ensures fast processing of your application. However, if an online application is no option for you, you can of course also apply via post or email. 

 

Which documents do I need to submit with my application?

For fast and uncomplicated processing of your application, please make sure to send all required information with your documents.

With your curriculum vitae you provide important information about your skills, qualifications, professional background and experiences, as well as professional stages. In addition, we would like a brief cover letter indicating, which position you apply for, and the information about a possible start date and your salary expectations.

In the “Miscellaneous“ field, you can upload your additional documents, such as certificates.

Which format is acceptable for my application documents?

If you apply online, our system accepts all common and secure file formats. However, we are not able to process compressed formats such as *.zip or similar or process formats forwarding to external servers.

Your documents should not exceed a file size of 10 MB per file.

Can I send an unsolicited application?

Of course, you can always send us an unsolicited application.

 

How can I find out that my online application has been received?

After the application has been sent successfully via our online application form, you receive a confirmation of receipt by email. Please make sure that the confirmation email does not end up in your SPAM-folder due to respective settings.

 

What will happen to my application?

Upon receipt of your application, we will review the documents with regard to the fulfilment of basic requirements, and will then forward them to the respective department for further review. We will contact you by phone or email in order to clarify preliminary questions that may arise, and to discuss further steps in the selection process (setting up an interview, etc.). Your profile will also be saved in our recruitment database to be used for future job vacancies. We will keep you updated on a regular basis.

 

How long will it take for my application to be reviewed?

We will do everything in our power to process applications as fast as possible, and to contact you within the first two weeks after receipt of your application. Of course, we will take a close look during our selection. So should it take longer than two weeks, we will give you feedback about the current status of your application.

 

Will my application remain in the system? How is my personal data stored and used?

Your personal data will be stored in our system for a maximum of 6 months after completion of the application process. The data is used for purposes within the scope of your application and the associated evaluation only. The personal data can only be accessed by employees of our Human Resources department and will not be shared with third parties in any case.

 

Can I cancel my application and remove it from the system, if I am no longer interested?

Of course. You may initiate the deletion of your personal data from our system at any time. A quick message will do.

I have a question regarding a job posting, what can I do?

Please contact the respective person in charge listed in the posting. We will do our best to answer your question without delay.

 

What kind of questions will be asked during the application process, and how will my responses be used?

With the objective of finding out whether your skills and qualifications match the requirements of the specific job, we may contact you during the application process to clarify questions about these skills and qualifications, as well as your academic background and your professional career. We assure you that in the process we will observe applicable regulations, laws and directives, remain true to our guidelines, and treat as confidential the information regarding the application process and the entire scope of your application, at all times.  

 

How do I prepare for an interview?

Should you be selected as a potential candidate for a vacant position, it is very important to us to meet you personally during a face-to-face interview in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. On this occasion, we will present you the objectives, ideals and values of our company, while giving you an insight into your future workplace, responsibilities and work environment. To us, direct exchange is an essential part of an interesting conversation. You are well prepared if you know who we are by doing research about our company and our products. Prepare to discuss your academic background and professional career, and to convince us that your know-how and professional experiences are the perfect match for the vacant position posted.

Can I apply for more than one job simultaneously?

Yes. Please make sure to prepare a separate application for each posting.

 

I can no longer find a posting I was interested in.What happened?

If you can no longer find a previous job posting it means that the job is no longer available, or a large number of applications have been sent in already, and no further applications will be accepted.
